Milorad Šule Jovović graduated from the Music Academy in Cetinje. Since 2007, he has been teaching Jazz as an elective course at the "Vasa Pavić" Art School for Music and Ballet in Podgorica.
He is the founder of Montenegro's first jazz ensemble, Piva Jazz Band, through which nearly all Montenegrin jazz musicians have passed.
His playing encompasses various styles, ranging from blues, swing, and bebop to hard bop and funk. In addition to the guitar, Šule Jovović also plays the piano.
Sara Jovović was born on May 8, 1999, in Podgorica. She began her musical education at the age of six by enrolling in the lower music school "Vasa Pavić," where she later completed high school, majoring in classical piano. During her early schooling, she was dedicated to classical music, participating in numerous national and international competitions.
Although classical music laid her foundation, she developed a special interest in jazz and popular music, genres less represented in Montenegro. Sara soon became active on the local jazz scene, performing at prominent festivals. Most notably, she participated in the Made in NY Jazz Festival in Podgorica from 2016 to 2020, sharing the stage with world-renowned musicians such as Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Wayne Escoffery, Dave Weckl, Alex Blake, Jerome Jennings, and Vasil Hadžimanov.
Additionally, she performed with the Piva Jazz Band at festivals in Bijelo Polje and Petrovac. As a member of the jazz section of the "Vasa Pavić" school, she gave numerous performances across Montenegro.
She gained international experience performing at the famous Zig Zag jazz club in Berlin, where she played alongside her father Šule Jovović and band founder Ben Kraef, performing Montenegrin jazz arrangements and original compositions.
Sara also participated in numerous jazz workshops and educational programs, including workshops in Podgorica (led by Vasil Hadžimanov), in Herceg Novi with artists like Brad Leali and Claus Raible, and at the prestigious Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, where she was awarded an 80% scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music.
In September 2018, she began her studies at Berklee in Boston, where after her first year she received an almost full scholarship to continue her education. During her studies, she had the opportunity to learn from world-renowned artists such as Joanne Brackeen, Kenny Werner, Billy Kilson, and Kevin Harris. Upon graduating, she became the first Master of Jazz Piano in Montenegro.
She also performed at the Montenegrin National Theatre in collaboration with the Galama Art organization, performing her original compositions and jazz standards. The concert was recorded and released on their official YouTube platform, as well as broadcast on Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG).
Alongside her formal education, Sara has actively performed in numerous concerts and recitals across various musical genres—including jazz, soul, R&B, hip-hop, and funk—demonstrating her versatility and artistic maturity.
